Electric Vehicle Chargers – Buttermarket

The Duchy of Cornwall is pleased to advise the provision of additional public Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points. There has been a facility at Poundbury Garden Centre for some time,
however the need for further capacity has grown significantly in the last year. The two 50kW rapid chargers (also capable of up to 22kW AC charge from a third cable), will be installed in the Buttermarket during the last week of January. They are programmed to go live from early February.

The operators will be Osprey, recently voted as in the top three EV charging providers. Any EV can be charged, including Teslas, with four bays designated for the use. No connection fee
or membership is required and payment will be by debit/credit card or use of the Osprey App. The drive to reduce reliance on fossil fuels accords with the sustainability ethos of Poundbury.
Further sites will be provided as demand grows. Contact details for Osprey will be displayed on the Chargers and questions regarding the forthcoming installation should initially be
directed to the Duchy of Cornwall office on 01305 250533.
