Buttermarket Christmas Market events this year will be on FRIDAY 24th and SATURDAY 25th November.
Buttermarket will be closed to traffic from Friday evening until Saturday evening.
Friday 24th Christmas Tree Lighting up.
Following the success of last year’s event, we are delighted to be holding this wonderful event again this year. Children from Damers and Prince of Wales school will be coming along to sing to everyone before the count-down to turning on the lights.
Timings for this event – Schools arrive from 6pm, singing starts 6:45 till 7:30 , Lights on 7:30pm
Hot refreshments will be served – burgers, hotdogs, mulled wine, tea, coffee and soft drinks. Money raised from selling these will be divided between the schools PTA’s.
Hot Marshmallows for the Kids (and Grown-ups!)
Please come along and support this wonderful event, last year it was magical and we are aiming high again this year. Wrap up warm and join in the festive spirit.

Saturday 25th November – Christmas Market
This year we have a huge range of different and interesting traders coming. There will be plenty to see, plenty to buy, plenty to do, and plenty to eat!
We expect around 30 stallholders with a rich variety of goodies, maybe even some Christmas gifts? It will all kick off at 10 AM on Saturday morning. Best to walk to it if possible, as it will be busy.
